I've spent my life in Southern Oregon and have more than 21 years of real estate experience. I know this area, but I also know that relocating is about much more than finding a house you like online.

What Is It Like to Live in Southern Oregon?

One of the things I love most about Southern Oregon is the variety.

You can live in an established neighborhood close to shopping and medical services, choose a smaller community, find a historic home with character, or head outside of town for acreage, privacy, horses or room to spread out.

And if you love being outdoors, there's plenty to enjoy—hiking, fishing, rafting, boating, camping, horseback riding, wineries, golf, rivers and lakes are all part of the Southern Oregon lifestyle.

We also have several very different communities, including Medford, Central Point, Jacksonville, Ashland, Eagle Point, Grants Pass, Phoenix, Talent, Rogue River, Gold Hill and the surrounding rural areas.

That's why one of the first questions I like to ask someone considering a move here is:

What do you want your everyday life to look like?

Do you want to be close to shopping and restaurants? Would you prefer a quiet neighborhood? Are you dreaming about acreage? Do you need to be near medical services or an airport? Are you bringing horses? Would you love to be close to hiking trails or the Rogue River?

Once I understand what's important to you, I can help you narrow down which areas may be the best fit.
